Bhakti Yoga (Chapter Twelve of Bhagavad Geeta)

Lord Krishna assures and guarantees Arjuna the Highest goal which is the Lord Himself and gives a complete picture of the Seeker-of-Perfection, a true devotee and an accomplished Man of Realization. He who follows the 36 qualities of “Immortal Dharma”, regarding HIM as the goal. He declares, “Such a devotee is extremely dear to Me”

This chapter expounds on the principles of Bhakti – Devotion. Specifically, the nature of devotion, the qualities of a devotee and the various methods of spiritual practice. It is a thorough exposition of devotion and rightly named Bhakti Yoga

When Arjuna is intellectually convinced and emotionally satisfied, he feels an urge to conquer the “Kingdom of Divine”. He raises a doubt whether it is better to meditate upon the Truth as unmanifest or as manifest. The entire chapter is dedicated to answer this question.
