Bala Vihar is a weekly gathering of children, between the ages of five to thirteen years that takes place in Chinmaya Mission Centres or in private homes, under the supervision of trained teachers. The aim of Bala Vihar is to help children bloom, grow, and inculcate values through fun-filled activities. Bala Vihar enhances the overall development of the personality of a child at all levels — physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural and spiritual.

The Central Chinmaya Vanaprastha Sansthan (CCVS) is the senior citizens wing of Chinmaya Mission uniting people over sixty years of age. CCVS encourages senior citizens to pursue the final spiritual goal of life and shows them the means to achieve it. It assists and trains householders and near-retirees (vanaprasthis) to make a smoother and easier transition from life in grihasta ashram to life in vanaprastha ashram.
The musical wing of Chinmaya mission, aims at experiencing divinity through Bhajans. Swaranjali doesn't demand one to be a trained musician, all that is required is *'music from your heart'* and completely giving oneself to the Lord.

Brahmacharya Anand Chaitanya was a Business Programmer prior to being a full timer in Chinmaya Mission. Later, he has undergone the two year residential Vedanta Course in Sandeepany Sadhanayala, Mumbai and initiated as a monk to Chinmaya Mission.

In 2018, Chinmaya Yuva Kendra members and Br Anand Chaitanya from Chinmaya Mission Chennai have started the mission actives in Vellore with the support of Shri Surendran & Deepa Surendran. Balavihar classes were started for the children of Saraswathi Kala Kendra which was founded by Mr & Mrs Surendran at their premises. The regular classes were well accepted by the kids and parents and later Jnana Yajnas were conducted by the team of devotees with the help of Chennai Mission members.
Later, a Mission Committee was formed exclusively for Vellore as a sub centre under Chennai, and various grass root level activities are being organised by the members successfully.
Pujya Gurudev has conducted a Jnana Yajna long ago in Vellore. Decades later, Br Anand Chaitanya, under the guidance of Swami Mitrananda, conducted a Yajna on ‘Navada Bhakti’ at the Town Hall, Vellore in the formation year. Swami Ramakrishnanada, Swami Anukoolananda and Swami Shivayogananda has conducted Yajans on various topics from 2018-2022. Swami Sureshananda has conducted an online Yajna for Chinmaya Mission Vellore during the pandemic.
During the pandemic, regular online Balavihar classes and camps were held for children.
Chardham Yatra: A Chardham Yatra was organised from 9-19 Sep, 2022 by Chinmaya Vellore for a team of 21 members. Devotees visited all four dhams and stayed Chinnmaya Tapovan Uttarkashi Ashram for 3 days. They also visited Tapovan Kutir at Gangotri and invoked the grace of Parama Pujya Tapovanji Maharaj. At Rishikesh, the Yatras had a quick visit to The Divine Life society and has the fortune to interact with Pujya Swami Padmanabhananda, General Secretary of DLF.
Geeta Chanting Competitions: GCC 2022 was organised by Chinmaya Vellore for nearly 350 children from different schools and the winners have participated in the Tamilnadu State Level Geeta Chanting Completion.
High 5 Camp: Chinmaya Mission Vellore has conducted a children’s camp titled “High 5” on 7th & 8th Jan 2023. 255 children of 4-7 std, from 15 schools in and around Vellore participated in the Camp.
Camp has sessions on Pancha-bhutas and Ishwara who created the elements. Session also explored more on Shiva temples connected with five elements, Hindu festivals and other topics. Chinmaya Yuva Kendra(Chyk) members from Chennai have taught the children inspiring action songs on Lord Muruka which the kids loved and learnt. Br Anand Chaitanya conducted a session on five elements.
As part of the Camp, Children visited Vallimalai where Valli Devi, Shri Subramanya’s wife was born. 20 volunteers from Vellore made the Camp successful.
Brni Bharathi Chaitanya from Sripermupathur Mission regularly conducts weekly classes for Devi Group.
Online classes for elders under the title ‘Vallamai Tarayo’ is being held on every Sundays.
An Online Balavihar is going to start by the Sevaks of Vellore.
A Yajna on ‘Tiruvilayadal Puranam’ is going to be organised inside Jalakanteshwara Temple, Vellore from 10-13 Feb, 2023. Swami Anuttamanandaji from Chinmaya Mission Karur will enlighten the devotees about the topic. On 12th Feb Sunday, ‘Meenakshi Kalyanam ritual will be held from 6.30-8pm at the same venue.
A Spiritual Camp and Yatra to Adishankaranilayam and Kaladi is being organised by Chinmaya Mission Chennai and Vellore. Br Anand Chaitanya will be conducting classes on Narada Bhakti Sutra and guiding the devotees for different temple in Ernakulam and Kottayam districts of Kerala.
வேலூர், சேண்பாக்கம் அருள்தரு சந்தான ஈஸ்வரி ஆலயத்தில் சின்மயா மிஷன் வேலூர் சார்பில் மகளிர் தின விழா இன்று (04th Mar 2023) காலை 10.00 மணிக்கு தொடங்கியது. வேலூர் மாநகராட்சி மேயர் திருமதி. சுஜாதா அவர்கள் குத்துவிளக்கு ஏற்றி விழாவை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
இந்த விழாவில் சுமார் 66 பெண்கள் 10 அணிகளாக பிரிக்க பட்டு கோல போட்டி, விளையாட்டு போட்டி, ஆன்மீக பாட்டு போட்டி, ஆன்மீக கேள்வி பதில்கள் போட்டி நடைபெற்றது. அதை தொடர்ந்து மதியம் 1.30 மணிக்கு வெற்றி பெற்ற முதல் மூன்று அணிக்கு பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது.
