Br. Anand Chaitanya




A soft spoken and popular leader among the youth, Anandji as he is fondly known as, currently resides in Chennai. A graduate of business programming in computer science 

Inspired by Poojya Swami Chinmayananda at a tender age, Sri.Santhoshji joined the first batch of the Youth Empowerment Programme in the year 2003. He served CM centres and CCMT and subsequently went on to do the Vedanta course at the Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai and attained deeksha from Poojya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda in the year 2016 and is named as Br. Anand Chaitanya.

The Birth Centenary Celebrations of Swami Chinmayananda was celebrated all over the world in the year 2016 and a special event of Chinmaya Jyoti Yatra was organised. A bus with Akhanda Jyoti and Archives of Swami Chinmayananda was flagged off on the 8th May 2016 from Ernakulam, which travelled all over India covering over 25 states including the Sri Shankara Temple Kashmir. This mammoth task was undertaken by Br. Anand Chaitanya who lead the team and managed the successful completion of the yatra.

Br Anand Chaitanya also holds the distinction of conducting over 100 workshops in different states (Schools, colleges, corporate offices etc) on “Transforming Indians to Transform India” and created a movement in the course of Self Transformation to achieve national transformation.

Br.Anandji was involved in the making of the film “On A Quest” – on the life, works and vision of Swami Chinmayananda and also in acting as a character and in other aspects of the making of the film.

Over the years, Br.Anandji has travelled to a few countries to give talks on Vedanta and has conducted several workshops. He is an admirable speaker and delivers talks in English and Malayalam.
