Bala Vihar is a weekly gathering of children, between the ages of five to thirteen years that takes place in Chinmaya Mission Centres or in private homes, under the supervision of trained teachers. The aim of Bala Vihar is to help children bloom, grow, and inculcate values through fun-filled activities. Bala Vihar enhances the overall development of the personality of a child at all levels — physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural and spiritual.

The Central Chinmaya Vanaprastha Sansthan (CCVS) is the senior citizens wing of Chinmaya Mission uniting people over sixty years of age. CCVS encourages senior citizens to pursue the final spiritual goal of life and shows them the means to achieve it. It assists and trains householders and near-retirees (vanaprasthis) to make a smoother and easier transition from life in grihasta ashram to life in vanaprastha ashram.

Brahmacharya Anand Chaitanya was a Business Programmer prior to being a full timer in Chinmaya Mission. Later, he has undergone the two year residential Vedanta Course in Sandeepany Sadhanayala, Mumbai and initiated as a monk to Chinmaya Mission.

Born in the birth place of Bhagawan Ramana Maharishi at Thiruchuli village, Swami Sureshananda, was born into the lap of spirituality and was destined to embark on a divine path.
As a monk at the Chinmaya Mission, Swamiji has tirelessly served the cause of our Pujya Gurudev's vision "To give maximum happiness to maximum people for maximum time".
As a young seeker, Swamiji joined the “Tamil Sandeepany course” at Thamaraipakkam in the year 1997. After two and a half years, he completed the Vedanta course under the guidance of Swami Shridarananda and took Brahmachari Deeksha in the year 1999, as Br.Amaresh Chaitanya from Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda ji. In the year of 2016 on Krishnashtami day, he was blessed with Sannyasa Deeksha given by Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda ji.
His depth of knowledge in Tamil texts and other vedantic texts is reflected in the several articles that he has written on Gurudev Ashtothram and the essence of the Upanishads for magazines such as the Chinmaya Dindimah.
On completion of his Vedanta course, Swamiji has served several Chinmaya Mission centres within and outside of Tamil Nadu including the centres at Tamaraipakkam, Tiruvellore and Tiruchengode. His passion to serve the Mission is evident in the manner in which he engages in taking regular classes for seekers, Shravana Sadana and in conducting Yagnas. He is also in charge of the Chinmaya Study Group, working for the improvement of study groups in Chennai. He has also conducted more than 25 camps in many ashrams within India. A simple and soft spoken person, Swamiji’s talks are appealing to seekers across different age groups.
Swamiji’s vision is to help people choose the right means to be happy through right knowledge by transforming the lives of people with his knowledge of a spiritual path.
